Located in the heart of the Chianti Colli Fiorentini wine zone just 16 km from Florence, this castle dates back to the 11th century and in the past has hosted illustrious guests such as Gioacchino Rossini, Giosuè Carducci, and Enrico Fermi.

It is located at an altitude of about 400 meters above sea level and it is surrounded by 200 hectares of vineyards and olive groves.

Around the castle, there is a medieval village whose small church houses Mannerist works attributed to the circle of Rosso Fiorentino.

At the beginning of the 1960s, the castle was bought by the current owners, who planted the first vineyards in the surrounding land. Today, their third generation of wine producers dedicate themselves with passion and competence to this project, with the mission of producing world-class wines by combining tradition with state-of-the-art technology in the field of viticulture and winemaking.

The varieties they cultivate are mainly autochthonous vines (Sangiovese, Colorino, Canaiolo, Trebbiano Toscano, and Malvasia), which thrive in this area of great viticultural tradition. The wines produced here are mostly reds (Chianti Colli Fiorentini DOCG, Rosso di Toscana IGT, Rosso IGT) and some whites (Bianco di Toscana IGT, Bianco IGT) – both young and aged.

Today, the historical mansion has been expertly restored and turned into a tourist facility, whereas the ancient cellar (also restored in keeping with tradition) houses an agricultural museum where visitors can admire beautiful ancient agricultural tools representing centuries of viticultural tradition.
